The owner Mr. Lionis Dimitris started this project in 2008 after a thorough research, in order to provide consumers with healthy products, as organic goods are pure products of high nutritional value.
The range of root products covers all the needs of the person who is interested in a healthier lifestyle as it includes all types of basic food (oils, legumes, pasta, rice, cereals, honey, jams), chicken, meat, buffalo products, spices, seafood, delicatessen, bread products, fruits and vegetables, eggs, dairy products, cold cuts, vegetable drinks-cheeses & cold cuts, juices, gluten-free products, hot products, baby food, as well as frozen products, cutlery, pies, fish, vegetables and fruits.
There is also a large variety of wines and other Greek drinks (tsipoura, ouza, rakomela, liqueur, beers, nama) nuts and dried fruits, pastries-ice creams, and mastic products.
Emphasis has also been placed on personal hygiene and wellness products with a variety of Greek herbs and Ayurvedic drinks, dietary supplements-macrobiotic-superfoods, hemp products - cosmetics - ointments, base oils & essential oils and stationery-detergents.
Organic goods are inspected and approved by state-recognized certification bodies, as evidenced by the corresponding label on their packaging, as required by European Regulations 2092/91 and 1804/99.
The root also provides:
• Suggestions for healthy eating in collaboration with a nutritionist.
• Possibility of distribution at the customer's place.
The store operates on a daily basis morning and afternoon, except Sundays.
